Image Resizer

Set a width and height in pixels and get the image back at those exact dimensions. Like the compressor, this runs entirely in your browser, so your file stays on your device.

Because the dimensions are applied exactly as entered, the aspect ratio is not preserved for you. If the new proportions differ from the original the image will stretch, so it is worth working out the matching height for your chosen width first — divide the original height by the original width and multiply by the new width.

Your result will appear here.

How to Use the Image Resizer

  1. Select an image file from your device.
  2. Enter the width and height you need, in pixels.
  3. Select Generate to resize the image.
  4. Use the download link to save the resized file.

Image Resizer FAQ

Is my image uploaded anywhere?

No. Resizing happens in your browser and the file is not sent to a server.

Does it keep the aspect ratio automatically?

No. Width and height are applied exactly as entered, so mismatched proportions will stretch the image.

What format is the result?

The resized image is saved as a JPEG.

Can I make an image larger?

You can, but the extra pixels are interpolated rather than real detail, so the result will look softer than the original.

What happens if I leave a field empty?

The original dimension is kept for whichever field you leave blank.
