Fast, simple tools for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook & social media. No sign-up, no limits, completely free.
CreatorToolBox is a collection of 15 free, browser-based tools built around the small jobs that come up when you make content. Writing a title, drafting a description, picking hashtags, counting the words in a caption, resizing a thumbnail, working out a percentage — none of these take long on their own, but hunting for a different website for each one does.
It is built for YouTubers and short-form creators first, and it is equally useful for bloggers, students, freelancers and small business owners. Nothing here requires an account, a download or a payment. Open a tool, use it, close the tab.
Five of the tools are aimed specifically at planning and publishing YouTube videos.
The YouTube Title Generator takes a topic and returns ten title angles built on patterns that tend to read well on YouTube — beginner guides, mistake lists, personal experiments. They are drafts to react to, not finished titles: pick the one closest to your video and rewrite it in your own words.
The Viral Hook Generator writes opening lines for Shorts and Reels, where the first sentence decides whether anyone stays. You choose a tone — curiosity, shocking, emotional or educational — and get several openers for the same topic, which is useful when you want to compare approaches before you start filming.
The Video Idea Generator is for the blank-page problem. Give it a niche and it expands it into ten different content angles, enough to sketch out the next few uploads instead of deciding one video at a time.
The YouTube Description Generator assembles a structured starter description from your title and key points, with a sensible layout and a call to action already in place, so you are editing a draft rather than staring at an empty description box.
Hashtags are how a lot of content gets found outside your existing audience, but assembling a list by hand for every post gets tedious. The Hashtag Generator takes your topic, pulls usable tags out of it and adds relevant creator tags for the platform you pick — YouTube, Instagram or Facebook.
Treat the output as a base to edit rather than a finished set. The tags that do the most work are usually the specific ones only you can add: your niche, your location, your series name. Used together with the Video Idea Generator and the YouTube Description Generator, you can go from an idea to a caption, description and tag list in one sitting.
The Word Counter reports words, total characters, characters excluding spaces, and line count for any text you paste in. The separate character counts matter more than they sound: some platforms count spaces toward a limit and some do not, so the number you need depends on where the text is going.
The Case Converter reformats text to UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case or Sentence case. Sentence case is the one that earns its keep — it cleans up text that arrived in all caps or with inconsistent capitalization, capitalizing after each sentence break instead of making you retype the whole thing.
Three calculators cover everyday arithmetic that is annoying to do in your head. The Percentage Calculator works out a percentage of a value — a discount, a tip, a share of a total. The EMI Calculator estimates a monthly loan repayment from the amount, annual interest rate and tenure in months, and also shows total payment and total interest, which is where the real cost of a longer tenure becomes visible. The Age Calculator returns an age in years from a date of birth, using today's date and accounting for whether the birthday has passed yet.
These are estimate tools. The arithmetic is correct for the numbers you enter, but the EMI calculator does not include processing fees, insurance or the rounding a particular lender applies, so its figure will not match a bank quote exactly. Use it to compare options and sanity-check what you are offered — not as the basis for a financial decision on its own. For anything binding, confirm the numbers with your lender or a qualified professional.
The QR Code Generator turns a link or any short text into a scannable code for a poster, slide, business card or product label.
The Image Compressor and Image Resizer both work on your own device using your browser's canvas — the file never leaves your computer. Compressing trades some quality for a smaller file, which is the usual fix for photos that slow a page down; resizing changes the pixel dimensions, which is what you want when a platform asks for a specific thumbnail or banner size. If you need both, resize first and then compress.
The URL Slug Generator converts a title into the lowercase, hyphenated form used in clean URLs, stripping punctuation that does not belong in a web address. The Password Generator builds a random password of the length you choose from a character set that deliberately leaves out easily confused characters like O and 0, generated locally and never transmitted.
The tools here are deliberately small. Each one does a single job, takes a couple of inputs and gives you something you can copy and use — no onboarding, no dashboard, no upsell.
Every tool follows the same three steps. First, choose a tool — the four most-used ones are shown at the top of this page, and the View All 15 Tools button reveals the rest. Each tool also has its own page with instructions and tips.
Second, fill in the short form. Depending on the tool this is a topic, a block of text, a few numbers, a date or an image file.
Third, select Generate. Text results appear below the form and the Copy Result button puts them on your clipboard; the image tools give you a download link instead. You can switch tools at any point without reloading the page, and nothing you enter is saved between visits.
Short, practical write-ups that go beyond what a tool can do on its own. Every platform figure quoted is taken from an official source and linked, so you can verify it yourself.
The limit is 100 characters. The number that matters is closer to 50, and here is why.

Read the guide →Official specs, the 2 MB mobile trap, and why your 16:9 thumbnail may get replaced on vertical uploads.

Yes. Titles, hooks, hashtags, ideas and descriptions produced here are intended as a starting point for your own content. Read through anything you generate, rewrite it in your own voice and check it fits your video before you publish.
The percentage, EMI and age calculators are intended for quick estimates. The EMI calculator in particular does not account for processing fees, insurance or a lender's own rounding rules, so treat its output as an estimate and confirm important figures with your bank or a qualified professional.
Most tools on this site process your input in your browser, and the Privacy Policy explains exactly which one is the exception, what third-party services are involved and how our cookie consent works. The Terms of Use cover acceptable use, and the Disclaimer sets out the accuracy limits that apply to generated content and calculator results — worth reading before you rely on the EMI figure.
